The Hennepin Country WERC Resource Room is a Minnesota Workforce Center Affiliate. Services are available to assistance program participants as well as the public. The Resource Room provides staff trained in Career Development Facilitator methods to assist and direct customers in their job and housing search.

    • Utilize Deluxe and/or Microsoft Word software programs
    • Practice and test typing, and 10-key skills using Mavis Beacon Typing Tutorial software program
  • High-speed internet access for customers to:
    • Search for jobs online
    • Research jobs online
    • Write and post resumes & cover letters online
    • E-mail prospective employers
    • Research companies and the employment market
    • Search for affordable housing
    • E-mail prospective landlords regarding housing
    • File for Unemployment Benefits
    • Complete and file Federal and States taxes online
  • Facsimile services for customers who need to fax:
    • Resumes, cover letters, job applications, W-4 forms, etc. to prospective employer
    • Housing applications
  • Copy machine to make copies of resumes, cover letters, job and housing applications, W-4 forms, and other job-related information
  • Current information regarding local job fairs, job openings, etc.
