Recognized as one of the top libraries in the United States, the 41-library system serves 1.1 million Hennepin County residents and offers more than 5 million books, CDs, DVDs and other items in more than 40 languages. Customers have access to 1,750 public computers. The Library also serves county residents through outreach to customers who are homebound, in senior residences and in correctional facilities.
