Hennepin County helps job seekers move forward in employment by providing access to information about the labor market and services such as career counseling, training, and job placement. 

Hennepin County partners with businesses, community organizations and other government entities to deliver programs targeted for youth, adults, persons affected by layoffs, and recipients of public assistance.

Suburban Hennepin County job seekers obtain their employment and training services through the Hennepin County Human Services and Public Health Department and its service partners. 

City of Minneapolis job seekers obtain their employment and training services through the Minneapolis Employment and Training Program, with the exception of residents participating in the Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) and the Food Support Employment and Training Program (FSET).  Residents participating in MFIP or FSET obtain their employment and training services through Hennepin County.
