Volunteer with Sentencing to Service
If your organization has work that may be done by a STS work crew, complete the project proposal form and fax to 612-321-3429.
Hennepin County Sentencing to Service (STS) is a structured work program that provides a sentencing alternative for low-risk adult and juvenile offenders.
Instead of serving time in jail or paying a fine, offenders can work, learn new skills and gain self-confidence, while completing community improvement and restoration projects.
Experienced crews efficiently and safely provide a wide range of services
“The quality of work has been excellent, and the value to our organization is nearly immeasurable.”— Volunteer Development Coordinator

Offenders are carefully screened prior to assignment to an STS work crew. Professional crew leaders — many with degrees in landscaping, gardening and forestry — maintain a safe work environment and hold offenders accountable as they fulfill court-ordered obligations.
