Hennepin County Public Affairs is proud to present the Summer on the Plaza Program. Liven up your lunch and join us on the North Plaza of the Hennepin County Government Center for musicians, actors, dancers, educators and more!
Hennepin County Public Affairs arranges all performances, which are uncompensated.
In the event of bad weather, performances move inside to the Public Service Level (Skyway Level) of the Hennepin County Government Center.

Wayzata Summer Band | The Summer Wayzata Summer Band is made up of 90 students currently in grades 6, 7 and 8 who have played instruments in the middle school band program |
| Wednesday, June 26 | Transitive Nightfall | Improvisational rock band with a slight tinge of jazz. Familiar songs in unfamiliar arrangements |

Pam Ritter | Pam is an award-winning performer who plays various types of music on the accordion – popular, classical plus her own compositions |

Tower Bells | The Tower Bell Foundation holds bell concerts regularly at Minneapolis City Hall-Hennepin County Courthouse. All concerts are free and open to the public. The North Plaza is an optimum listening spot |
| Wednesday, July 10 | Minne-Brass | Minne-Brass is a group of musicians playing 22 brass and three percussion instruments. They are a DCA Champion of the Mini Drum and Bugle Corps |
| Thursday, July 11 | Silver City Millers | Silver City Millers is a bluegrass/old-time music duo with plenty of energy! Their main instrument is guitar, mandolin and harmonica but they also work in some banjo and Appalachian clogging |

Armenian Dance Ensemble | This group performs traditional Armenian folk dances in ethnic costumes depicting current and historic styles of music and dance |

| Wednesday, July 24 | Celebration Brass Quintet | The Celebration Brass Quintet has developed a wide repertoire in a variety of musical genres, including jazz, Dixieland, ragtime, classical, show tunes and 'golden oldies' |
| Friday, July 26 | BlueStratum | BlueStratum performs original music composed by the group members mixed in with some covers of pop and rock hits |
| Wednesday, July 31 | Kaleiokapilialoha | Kaleiokapilialoha is a hula school with 24 students who love to share the aloha spirit through ancient and modern hula |

| Friday, August 9 | Royal Scottish Dancers -- this performance starts at 12:15 p.m. | The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society is a world wide organization with a branch in Minnesota. They have been together in the Twin Cities for over 35 years keeping alive the tradition of Scottish County Dance. |
| Wednesday, August 14 | Sheridan Zuther | Sheridan is an opera trained singer who sings in a wide range of genres from country to musical theatre and from cabaret to jazz. This performance will be a tribute to the songs of Bette Midler |

| Wednesday, August 21 | Time Capsule Project-Bio Scenic Traveling Machine | What message or object do you want to send to the future? Cast your vision, make a wish or record history in a traveling Time Capsule. Bring a small personal object (2"x2") or use provided supplies |
| Thursday, August 22 | Satin Dolls & Company | Satin Dolls are senior tap dancers who perform at senior living home and events. They are also the Senior Dance Team for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx pro basketball teams |
| Friday, August 23 | Righteous Might | Righteous Might is a four-piece original rock band with melodic tunes and introspective thought provoking lyrics |
| Thursday, August 29 | Lehamore-Hudson | Lehamore-Hudson is a two-man guitar band playing instrumental music in the Americana style - Blues, Rock, Country, Latin and other various styles in their own original music form |
| Friday, August 30 | Kevin Vincal | Kevin is a solo dance artist who will be performing "...Dancing in the Key of Life" with spoken dialect about dances |
