What is GIS?
A geographic information system (GIS) allows us to view and understand data in many ways that reveal relationships, patterns and trends in the form of maps, reports and charts.
A GIS helps us answer questions and solve problems by examining data in an easy to view and understand manner. Geography plays a role in nearly every business decision and a GIS assists us in making more informed decisions.
