A-GRAD Education Initiative: A-GRAD is the county's commitment to increasing high school graduation rates.

Child Care & Adoption

Adoption Program: Adoption services for children in the child protection system who are waiting to be adopted and the families who are interested in adopting them.
Family Child Care Licensing: Information about child care licensing, how to become a child care provider, subsidy issues, parent information, and other resources.
Foster Care: This program oversees the recruitment, licensing, training, and retention of family foster homes for children in need of out of home care.

Baby Tracks: Immunization Reminders: This program tracks immunizations for children up to two years of age.
Child and Teen Checkups Program: This program provides comprehensive health care for children ages birth through 20 years old who are enrolled in Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare.
Health Care Programs: Information about public health care payment programs available through Hennepin County.
Hennepin County Breastfeeding Coalition: The coalition provides updates and educational programs about breastfeeding.
Hennepin County Immunization Services: This service protects public health in Hennepin County by providing access to records and immunizations for children and those with no insurance.
The Flu: Don’t Get It, Don’t Spread It: The influenza season got off to an early start this year and is now seeing vigorous, widespread activity.
WIC: Women, Infants, and Children: A health program designed to help pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children learn about nutrition and stay healthy.

Cash Assistance: Programs that provide money to individuals and families in poverty.
Child Care Assistance: This program helps families pay for child care costs while they work, look for work or attend school.
Child Support: This program locates parents, establishes parentage, establishes court orders for child support, medical support, child care support, and collects payments.
Help Paying for Food: This food support program helps adults and families pay for food.
North Minneapolis Hub: Learn about the North Minneapolis Hub where residents have access to key services such as Medical Assistance, Emergency Assistance, child care assistance, food assistance, child support, and homeless services.
Work Benefit (WB) Program: This program provides monthly cash grant incentives for employed families.
Youth Resource Tips: Resources and tips for youth, including job search, health care, basic needs and help with parenting.

About Children's Mental Health: Assessment and treatment services to improve school performance, enhance child and family functioning, decrease violence, and reduce out-of-home placement.
Child Crisis Services: Provides on-site crisis assessment and intervention services for children experiencing mental health crisis.
Early Childhood Intervention Team: This team provides assessment, referrals, resources, and consultation to help young children with special needs through age five.
Follow Along Program: This program tracks children found to be at risk for developmental delays.
