Environmental Education Learning Trunks and Event Display Materials: Lesson plans, activities and event display materials to help educators, volunteers and organizations teach about environmental issues.
Environmental Education Toolkits: Hennepin County has developed toolkits for particular sectors to educate communities about environmental issues and implement environmental education projects.
Environmental Education Videos & Multimedia: Environmental education videos & other multimedia to view online and order on DVD.
Environmental Events and Speakers: Environmental Services staff is available to attend events and give presentations on a variety of environmental topics to community groups, schools, organizations and businesses.
Environmental Literature Order Form: Environmental factsheets, brochures and incentive items available to community groups, municipalities, and schools at no charge.
Multicultural Outreach: Hennepin County offers environmental education resources in Spanish, Hmong and Somali.
River Watch Volunteer Monitoring: This program for student groups helps assess stream water quality through hands-on environmental education.
Tours of Environmental Sites: Hennepin County offers free tours of several environmental sites and facilities, including the Brooklyn Park Drop-Off Facility and the eco-yards.

Community POWER Grants: Funding available for waste reduction and recycling education projects through Rethink Recycling.
Experiential Environmental Education Grants and Teacher Academy: Grants are available for new environmental education programs that provide hand-on, experiential outdoor learning opportunities for inner-city youth. A Teacher Academy to train educators will also be offered.
