Ordinances Concerning Public Health

Ordinance #03 Food Protection Ordinance
This Ordinance is enacted to establish standards for the regulation of food establishments to protect the health, safety, and general welfare of the people of Hennepin County pursuant to powers granted under Minnesota Statutes, Sections 145A.01 through 145A.1 and 375.51 through 375.55, Minnesota Rules, Chapter 4626, and subsequent recodifications and/or amendments and other applicable legislation, as may be adopted from time to time.
Ordinance #04 Public Swimming Pool
Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 145.915, 375.51 - 375.55 and Minnesota Rules 7 MCAR § 1.141 relating to public swimming pools, including all subsequent amendments thereto, are adopted by Hennepin County by reference. Reference in 7 MCAR § 1.141 to Board or Board of Health shall be to the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners or their authorized representatives.
Ordinance #05 Children's Camp
Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 145.915, 375.51 - 375.55 and Minnesota Rules 7 MCAR § 1.201 relating to children's camps, including all subsequent amendments thereto, are adopted by Hennepin County by reference. Reference in 7 MCAR § § 1.187 - 1.204 to Board or Board of Health shall be to the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners and their authorized representatives.
Ordinance #06 Lodging Establishment
Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 145.915, 375.51 - 375.55 and Minnesota Rules 7 MCAR § § 1.151 - 1.160 relating to lodging establishments, including all subsequent amendments thereto, are adopted by Hennepin County by reference. Reference to Board or Board of Health shall be to the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners and their authorized representatives.
Ordinance #09 Emergency Medical Services
This Ordinance is enacted to protect the health, safety, and general welfare of the people of Hennepin County pursuant to powers granted under Minnesota Statutes Chapters 145A and 375 and subsequent recodifications and/or amendments, and other applicable legislation, as may be adopted from time to time.
Ordinance #19 Individual Sewage Treatment System Standards
This ordinance is enacted to provide minimum standards for the regulation of individual sewage treatment systems (ISTS).
Ordinance #23 Body Art Code
This ordinance is enacted to establish standards to protect health, safety and general welfare of the people of Hennepin County through regulation of the persons owning body art establishments, the individuals performing body art procedures, and the establishments where body art procedures are performed.
