Gambling permit
Businesses in unorganized areas of the county such as Fort Snelling apply with us.
An organization may conduct lawful gambling if:
- It has a premise permit and license to conduct lawful gambling.
- The city council or county board where the organization is located, approved the initial permit and license.
- The Minnesota Gambling Control Board reviewed, approved and issued the permit and license.
Fee
There is no fee due to Hennepin County.
Application process
- Determine which license or permit you need from the Minnesota Gambling Control Board.
- Mail documents to:

Next steps
After the County Board has approved the initial permit, the signed resolution will be returned to you.
